Today I ran the AIR make up tests in another room.

Today students took the Algebra I test if they didnt not earn enough points last year on the test.   Afterwards students were to work on stations.   Some students had some trouble with the video link so I have added the links here as well.

Today students completed any of this weeks work and turned in the composition notebooks to be graded.

Today was also AIR English Make ups.

AIR testing Day 3

Same as yesterday as some students took the 9th grade ELA AIR test.

Students then worked on the Composition Notebook work as stated yesterday

AIR Test Day 2

Same as yesterday with students completing the 10th grade ELA part 2 AIR test.  Then students went to bells 5 and 4 in the afternoon.  

Students should have the following activities completed by Friday as composition notebooks are due Friday 4/22.

Students are to complete the EGGCELLENT lab with the graph and questions 1-4 answered

Students are then to log into Google Classroom to complete the Cell membrane Cornell Notes.   Cell membrane Cornell Notes Sheet  Cell Membrane PPT

Day 1 AIR testing

Today students started their morning taking Part 1 of the English 10 AIR test.
Warm Up Notebooks were handed back by Mrs Spenny

In the afternoon we had bells 1, 2, and 3.

Students completed the Egg lab from last week.   With completing their graph and taping that into their composition notebooks and then answering the Conclusion Questions #1-4.   Their Composition notebook should look like

Egg Day 2

Today students remeasured their eggs after 24 hours in their variable.  Students then completed the notes from earlier this week

Diffusion Osmosis Eggcellent Lab Day 1

Today students wrote their hypothesis and measured their eggs circumference.  Then added their chosen variable.  Tomorrow we will measure again.

We then worked on more of the Cell Membrane notes.

Practice on the AIR site

Today we practice on the AIR site, getting sound and understanding how to scroll etc.

Prep for lab

Today students started the prep work for our lab on Thursday and Friday.   We put our eggs in vinegar to allow the shell to be dissolved.
After that we set up for the lab for next week by taking putting an egg in a mason jar and covering it with vinegar to dissolve the shell over our three day weekend.

We set up the lab in our notebooks as follows:  Title (TOC), Purpose, Hypothesis, Chart.

Completing the Photosynthesis vs Respiration

Today students had a chance to finish any of the work from this week and students TURNED IN THEIR LAB NOTEBOOKS.

Chemical Relationships of Plants and Animals

Today we started comparing the relationship between Cellular Respiration and Photosynthesis after observing the results of our lab.  We completed the notes as seen here:

Today students completed the lab in their lab notebook and then did the cut our for photosynthesis.
