Today students should have completed everything in the Death of Your Lake activity including their graph and the conclusion questions #1-5.
Students have a few minutes to make sure the last two items were in their science notebooks and update their TOC.

Cycles of Matter

We then went over the answers from last weeks quiz. Students have gotten their responses by email. They can write any questions they got incorrect and turn them back in for half credit back.
Lastly students received the Water, Nitrogen, Carbon, Phosphorus cycle packet. We went over the expectation for this packet due 3/24. Biogeochemical Cycle

Folders with Work
This week student will be working on their multimedia project for their Capstone. Therefore my work is independent all week. Students received their folder with all of the papers needed for the week.

- Ecological Succession Notes- Students log into google classroom, completed notes on Ecological Succession and taped this into their lab notebooks and updated their TOC.
- Next two assignments are Gizmos: explorelearning.com Students are to complete the packet on Air Pollution and Greenhouse Effect.

Completing Work

Wetland Fire Ecology
Today we completed this assignment started last week. We learned to read the data tables to answer the 6 analysis questions and in the conclusion use the data to look at our hypothesis previously written.

Today students completed the Deer: Predation or Starvation activity from yesterday and turned it to the inbox.

Today students logged into Google Classroom and took the Taxonomy quiz. After this short quiz student had the remainder of the bell to work on their Alien Taxonomy Project due Monday.

Reflection sheet and Alien Project
Today students did a one sheet paper on Where Does Oil Come From.
Student then had the remainder of the class to complete pages 3-7 in their Alien taxonomy project. These pages should be done today in order for students to be able to work on pages 8 & 9 Thursday and 10 and 11 on Friday.
Reminder this is DUE MONDAY. Each day students have had at least 10 minutes in class to work on this project but not all can be completed in class. Students will have to (and have two weeks to) work at home as well.
