Today students began by writing the Title, TOC, and Chart from the lab Part 2a How to Use a Dichotomous Key.
Then students completed this lab including Questions 1-3.
Afterwards Students were shown how to make their Taxons for the Alien Project (page 3).
Students should have their Alien Taxonomy Project pages 3-7 completed by WED. This is due Monday March 7th.
Their lab notebook should look like this: Reminder it was just graded over the weekend and will be collected again Friday March 11th

Today students logged into Dashboard and look their practice AIR test for Biology.
Afterwards students had time to complete the post lab questions if needed and
TURN IN THEIR LAB NOTEBOOK for its 2 week grading cycle.

Completing of activity and Nova Lab
Today students looked at answering the questions regarding their convergence and adaptive radiation coloring sheets after watching this video: Evidences of Evolution. After Pangaea, these organisms were geographically isolated form one another and evolved into many different species.
Students then answered the following questions from the Geographic Distribution and coloring activities: Its all about the bones- Evidence for Evolution Students logged into Google classroom and answered these questions and uploaded their answers for me to grade.
